What a countdown calendar is
“A countdown is a sequence of backward counting to indicate the time remaining before an event is scheduled to occur.”
Types of countdown calendar
When to use a countdown calendar
A deadline
Colour in a day each morning, and the countdown says how many are left.
Trips
Count down to a trip, like 21 days to Japan, one square at a time.
With kids
Children can colour the squares in themselves, which makes the waiting easier.
