    List what a business does well and badly, then what could help or hurt it from outside, like the bike shop's new bike lane.

  • Strategy

    Do it before a big plan: strengths to build on and threats to watch, in four boxes on one page.

  • Choosing

    Give each option its own SWOT, then compare the four boxes side by side.
